CRANBROOK, BRITISH COLUMBIA

The Cranbrook Home Hardware Building Centre is developing its own niche in a market that includes Home Depot, WalMart and Canadian Tire.

Dawn and Martin Torgerson work diligently to serve local contractors and they manufacture products like garden benches and garden sheds. Dawn proudly said that "all the profits from our store stay in town."

Proceeds from the appliance raffle went to the local MS Society.
