DAUPHIN HOME HARDWARE

Owen Connolly was celebrating his store's 25th anniversary.

An extremely hot day didn't deter the crowd from sitting for two hours in the sun to watch our demonstrations. Umbrellas are good for sun as well as rain.

The charity for the event was the Dauphin and District Community Foundation.

Owen said that his customers were talking about the event two weeks before and for sure they'll be talking about it for weeks afterwards.

Stuck in Dauphin ...

The motorhome is too heavy for the saturated, mucky soil at the Vermillion Campground after several days of rain.

A good samaritan pulls us out with his big truck.

We leave our mark in the grass.

Who is this? Could he be related to one of The Cooking Ladies?

Lamont's grandfather's photo hangs in the lobby of the Dauphin Hospital. He was one of the founding doctors. Lamont's mother was born in Dauphin.
