POLAR BEARS in Cochrane, Ontario

Swimming with the polar bears is possible at the Polar Bear Habitat and Heritage Village in Cochrane.

The Tim Horton Museum in Cochrane is also worth a visit. Very impressive displays.

The train to Moosonee -

Then the water taxi to Moose Factory -

The second oldest post of the Hudson's Bay Company was built here in 1673.

Lamont was hungry for bannock cooked on a stick.

Above ground utilities in Moose Factory. We haven't seen these since we visited Inuvik, NWT

Back in Cochrane, the motorhome shares the Home Hardware parking lot with the Home Hardware delivery truck.

Gifts, Good-byes and one last interview at Allan's Home Hardware

And we are "On the Road Again."

with drop-in visits to J.C.D. Home Hardware in Englehart, Ontario, Grant Home Hardware Building Centre in New Liskeard, Ontario, and Kidd's Home Hardware Building Centre in Sundridge, Ontario
